Company Profile
Glenn Oscarson began his
homebuilding career in LeSueur Minnesota. In 1991 he and his family moved to
Nisswa Minnesota where they had a cabin for several years. Glenn discovered the
call for modern, yet rustic, construction in the area and Northwoods Homes was
born. Northwoods homes started modest as many businesses do, building real stone
fireplaces and cabin remodels. Today, Northwoods Homes has built a strong
reputation of mid - large lake homes in the area as well as remaining a high
quality remodeler. Northwoods Homes works almost exclusively on referrals from
their customers. We can only do this by maintaining the highest standards and
giving the customer exactly what they pay for.
Over the years, Northwoods
Homes has remained a truly family business. Glenn has been married to his wife
Judy for 44 years and their middle son has evolved into the business and is the
lead carpenter. Being a family business has been the pride of Northwoods Homes
and believe their customers see that. Northwoods Homes makes sure that when the
last tool is loaded in the trailer and the last bit of sawdust is swept up, that
their customers are not only left with a high quality home, but also a family
friend for years to come.
